Specifically designed for young riders or riders of a smaller frame, the Youth Neck Support functions when the helmet and its support frame provide an alternative load path for the excessive energy compressing the neck. When the helmet is in contact with the neck support at the moment of impact, the total load passing through the neck can be reduced, which can prevent fracture and reduce the risk of muscle strain from extreme head movements. While it is not possible to completely eliminate the risk of injury, the support has been proven to help reduce the most serious damage and minimize the risk of secondary injuries by diverting impact loads away from the neck.

NOTE: This product is compatible with our Alpinestars Youth chest protectors via integration using the hook-and-loop/elastic straps.

• The YNS frame is made of an injected polymer compound that has been extensively impact-tested on various off-road surfaces and in varying temperatures.
• The anatomically profiled frame promotes positive helmet contact in the event of a crash while allowing the rider freedom of movement.
• Ultralight EVA foam is used on the underside of the support for comfort and positioning, and to distribute impact force over the largest possible area.
• The Quick Release closure system for easy attachment of the support also facilitates quick removal in an emergency.
• The rear stabilizer system helps keep the support in place and is also designed to divert extreme energy loads away from the spine by distributing it over the shoulder, thus preventing serious back injuries.
