De Arai GP-J3 is een open face helm, speciaal ontwikkeld voor gebruik in gesloten voertuigen zoals bijvoorbeeld toerwagens. Deze helm biedt een optimale combinatie van veiligheid, ventilatie en hoog comfort, en is uitgerust met vier ventilatiekanalen voor een effectieve luchtstroom – ideaal voor lange ritten of warme omstandigheden.
Details
The GP-J3 features a CLC (Complex Laminate Construction) outer shell with the Hyper Ridge reinforcement on the underside for high rigidity. This helmet is also equipped with a removable Nomex interior and cheek pads.
The ingenious ventilation system with 3 closable air inlets on the front of the helmet and 2 on the back. These are designed in such a way that they create a minimum of turbulence and maximum ventilation.
The interior, consisting of a combination of Carbon Nit, Nomex and Conex, is of course fire retardant and ensures maximum comfort and fit.
The polystyrene inner shell protects the head during an impact by evenly absorbing the energy of an impact. The inner shell of an Arai helmet has three to five zones with different densities, fully tailored to the required protection of the various main zones. For over twenty years, Arai has been the only manufacturer capable of manufacturing a multi-density inner shell as an integral, one-piece component.
