M61 Quick Release Helmet Anchor Kit
The M61 Quick Release is a helmet anchor kit that mounts to the sides of a motorsport helmet, allowing a HANS or FHR system to be quickly and securely clicked on and released.
It's an alternative to the older post-anchored (fixed) HANS clips.
What makes the M61 different?
Quick Release
The tether (the strap that connects the HANS to the helmet) is connected to the helmet via a rotating, spring-loaded knob.
Release can be done with one hand by pulling the yellow cord.
Safer Evacuation
In an emergency, the safety crew can release the helmet more quickly without having to completely remove the HANS system.

Compatibility
Suitable for helmets that are FIA 8858-2010 or FIA 8860 compliant.
Primarily used on helmets from: Bell, Stilo, Arai, Sparco, OMP, and Zamp.
Compatible with HANS/FHR systems equipped with a quick-release tether.
