LTEC085 Electric 12V Oil Pump – Compact, Powerful, and Versatile
The LTEC085 electric 12V oil pump is a compact and efficient gear pump specifically designed for demanding motorsport and technical applications. Its robust design and reliable operation make it ideal for both professional use and high-performance workshop environments.
This electric oil pump is widely used for filling and pumping oil in differentials and gearboxes, circulating lubricating oil, pumping antifreeze, and draining crankcases. The LTEC085 also delivers excellent performance outside of motorsport, for example, in marine engines.
Robust Construction and High-Quality Materials
The LTEC085 is designed as an electric gear pump and is particularly suitable for pumping lubricating oils and viscous fluids.
The pump features:
- a brass pump housing
- bronze gears
- a stainless steel shaft
- a durable rubber lip seal
- The pump comes with two brass connections for 14 mm hose and an additional quick coupling for 8 mm external hose. This makes the pump flexible and suitable for a wide range of installations.
Applications
The LTEC085 electric oil pump is suitable for, among other things:
- Transferring lubricating oil
- Pumping viscous and sticky liquids
- Transferring oils and antifreeze
- Circulating lubricating oil
- Draining the sump
- Note: The pump is a circulation pump and cannot build up pressure on its own.

Important considerations
- Using a suitable oil filter is strongly recommended.
- Do not use an oversized fuse to prevent engine damage.
- If excessively thick oil is used in combination with a cold start, the pump will draw more than 8 amps and the fuse will blow, risking the pump's combustion (NO WARRANTY).
- Therefore, it is best to install this in combination with a sensor (for example, 90°) and have it switch the pump on via a relay.
- When using AN hoses: use LTAN816-08-3819BSPP with sealant (other versions will not fit).
