Sparco Prime (R568)

FIA 8856-2018 homologated suit, SFI 3.2A/5 that will guarantee PERFORMANCE at the TOP LEVELS.

Dedicated to racers, the new Prime is Sparco's 2-layer fireproof suit par excellence and features one of the thinnest and most breathable compounds to date. Sparco's innovation for this project was to develop a lining made with HOCOTEX technology.

The HOCOTEX fabric, patented by Sparco, is the result of more than three years of research and development. It takes the form of a multilayer fabric integrated in a specific single-layer construction thanks to its internal honeycomb structure. This ensures high breathability and lightness while providing effective fire protection for pilots.

The Prime suit is equipped with strategic stretch inserts in super-stretch fabric, specially designed by Sparco to give the rider greater freedom of movement. It features an ultra-light zip, ultra-light flap cover, seamless wrists and ankles, and extra-flat seams for better weight optimisation. In addition, the collar is designed on the basis of experience with teams in F1.

The Prime's epaulette also features the typical L-shaped design, a distinctive Sparco icon since 1977, designed to meet the latest regulatory requirements for emergency pilot extraction. The shoulder straps are subject to specific tensile tests in accordance with ISO 13935-2, and meet a minimum requirement of 375N per shoulder.
